Job Description ERP Configuration Specialist Pay Range : $62,000 - $77,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 Work Schedule: Monday – Friday approximately 7:00am – 4:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Configuration Specialist is responsible for maintaining product, system, and process configurations across business applications and operational platforms. This role ensures configuration accuracy, supports change management activities, improves data integrity, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to align configurations with business requirements and operational standards. Work safely by following company policy and using appropriate PPE requirements where necessary. Monitors task assignments to support release readiness per Configuration Manager’s schedule. Design, develop, and maintain ERP configuration solutions that support business, manufacturing, and quoting processes. Create and maintain product configuration rules, Bills of Materials (BOMs), pricing structures, and manufacturing routings. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable system configurations and software solutions. Design and maintain data structures to ensure accurate, reliable, and efficient processing of business information. Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, BOM, order entry, interface, and system performance issues. Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, manufacturing, product management, and IT teams to define and implement solutions. Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to validate system changes and ensure release readiness. Document configuration logic, technical designs, development activities, and support procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to end users and business teams. Support system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow established development, testing, and change management standards to maintain system quality and compliance. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions. Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems & practices, and knowledge of structured BOM’s preferred. Fluent in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). A strong knowledge of window and door products is preferred Strong experience in database architecture, including data modeling, relational database design, normalization, performance optimization, data integrity. Strong experience with Oracle ERP and Infor CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote). Strong experience with Production Scheduling, and/or Manufacturing processes is a major plus. Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to set priorities for multiple tasks. Customer focus both internally and externally. Strong communication skills in both written and verbal. Ability to work flexible hours and/or travel depending on the needs of the department. Self-starter and ability to work independently.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in applicable major, or equivalent combination of education and directly applicable experience. Education, training or equivalent experience with programming language(s) and software development process.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Primarily operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Full-time position with standard working hours; occasional overtime may be required during peak periods. Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
