Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Gallatin, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit provides comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients, leveraging clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment. This role requires floating to other Med Surge units as needed and mandates adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care effectively utilizing evidence-based practices.
Administer medications and assess patient responses to treatments.
Monitor patient outcomes and document appropriately in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in a Medical Surgical setting.
Current TN RN license.
ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required prior to start.
