Job Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Prepare and observe patients during procedures, report abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to assure safeguards are maintained. Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) National Certification and state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Physical requirements: able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Qualifications 1 year of experience (2 years preferred). BLS, ARRT (VI), ARRT (R) certifications. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
