Examples of duties Plan and organize activities for youth and adults at various recreation sites. Assist the assigned supervisor in managing the sports facilities and year-round sports program. Assign work schedules, process payroll information of employees, evaluate performance, and initiate budgets for the program. Attend games, keep score when necessary, compute scores, and determine seeding for playoffs. Schedule and post league games and practice sessions and revise playing rules and procedures as required. Open and close parks and recreation facilities, enforce park rules, and maintain statistics for attendance and participation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, and At least one (1) year of experience in supervising and organizing recreation and athletic activities; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
