Pay for this position is: $34.50 per hour and is a part-time role. CDL A Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transport of products. If you enjoy working outdoors, doing physical activity, problem solving, and a company that promotes a strong safety culture, this opportunity is for you! Safely and efficiently transport products to and from locations year-round. Partner with dispatch in safely transporting dry freight materials. Assist the operation with other tasks deemed necessary to meet customer expectations. Report maintenance issues to Dispatch. Take an active role in our safety program including attendance at all safety meetings and ensuring safe behaviors of self and others. Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Work 5 days on, 2 days off. Working Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday off, with usual start time of 4am. Safety consciousness and understanding of safe work practices for operating in different environments. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Successfully pass road test, which will include a proper pre- and post-trip inspection of the vehicle. Climb into and out of the cab multiple times per shift. Lift up to 50 pounds. Drive and work in adverse weather conditions to include mountain driving. Mechanically inclined. Education & Experience 6 months to 1 year of CDL A driving experience in mountain/snow conditions. Stable work history is a MUST.
