This opportunity offers strong growth potential, the chance to work on both public & private projects, as well as 40+ office locations across the nation!Job Description:Geotechnical Engineer in the field at least 70%-80% of the timePerforming geotechnical support and inspections to commercial and residential projects throughout NYCField work including soil sampling, coring, and soil boringFamiliarity with AutoCAD to design earth structures, deep foundations, support of excavation and underpinning systemsGeotechnical report writing including SOE, retaining walls, load test details, field forms/ standard logs, soil/ rock classifications, drilling logs, and calculationsQualifications:3+ years experienceDegree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or GeologyPerform field work including soil sampling, coring, and soil boringOversee geotechnical investigations and construction projects, and perform inspections of geotechnical construction where neededDesign earth structures, deep foundations, support of excavation and underpinning systemsGeotechnical report writingPrepare standard logs and field forms, including drilling and test pit logs, field investigation, rock classification, etc.Please Apply to Posting ASAP for Immediate Consideration!Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
