Quality Technician (2nd Shift)

Job TitlePRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Component and assembled part layout in accordance to drawingFinished goods auditLine Faro for quality concernsSupport / Engage of deviationsSupport Calibration, Gage Trak, system (inspection, test equipment, functional gages)Strong Team environmentComplete capability studies on critical, major and minor characteristicsProgram development in PPAP principles and practicesDocument & record data collected on inspection forms legiblyKeep work area safe and clean (5S – Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Promote quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds customer expectationsCan use Microsoft Office proficiently (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Teams)Assist with Housekeeping in MRB areaSupport Operations with NCMR process, inspect partsFollow ITAR processes when appropriateAssist MRB area with material handling, inventory, non-standard jobs etc.Perform other duties as directed by ManagerEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:1-2 years' experience working in a similar position is preferredMINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:Ability to read a tape measurement.Ability to read manual calipers.Ability to read and understand blueprintsUnderstanding decimals preferred.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Quality plans and controls knowledgeGauging knowledge neededCMM knowledge preferredStrong communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsOverall knowledge of preventive vs. predictive maintenance techniquesGood attendanceDetail OrientedObserve all safety and OSHA procedures and standards. Maximum lifting of 25lb without assistance.
