Functional Systems Analyst – Human Capital Management

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Functional Systems Analyst – Human Capital Management. Under general supervision, the Functional Systems Analyst - Human Capital Management formulates concepts for, develops, and supports the implementation and upgrade of the Human Capital Management System. The current assignment is located at the San Diego County Office of Education within the Integrated Technology Services division of SDCOE. Please note that while this current assignment is for the location listed, employees of SDCOE may be administratively reassigned to other locations based on organizational needs.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a combination of education, training and/or experience that clearly demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities detailed in the job description. A typical qualifying background would include five years of functional Human Capital Management work experience including significant work within a Human Capital Management system. School district and Oracle/PeopleSoft experience is preferred.

Type of examination(s) for this classification: Applications will be reviewed, and candidates whose qualifications most closely match the classification requirements will be invited to participate in a competitive examination process. The examination process may consist of one or more of the following examination components: an oral examination, and/or a technical evaluation of the application. The results of this recruitment will be used to establish an eligibility list to fill the current vacancy and any other vacancies in this classification for the next six (6) months, or until the list is terminated.
