Regional Account Manager, MEP - Pacific Northwest

Regional Account Manager – Must be based in Sacramento, CA or Seattle, Washington (Field-based/Remote) Join a global leader in tools and construction supplies as a field‑based Regional Account Manager within the MEP sector. Responsibilities Manage and grow a designated in‑region distributor network within the MEP space. Foster and maintain internal relationships to support distribution partners while driving end‑user demand. Maintain a pipeline of prospective end‑users and prioritize key users in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing industry. Partner and support regional roles in planning and executing sales processes and year‑over‑year growth. Launch new products within the region and keep all relevant parties updated. Keep management and marketing updated on competitor trends and changes. Possess in‑depth knowledge of the product line and applications in the Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC Channel. Drive market share growth and increase top‑line sales in the assigned market. Prepare and execute key product demonstrations for end‑users and counter days. Coordinate promotions, COOP, and marketing support for account growth and sales. Educate key decision makers on rebate programs and track progress toward goals. Manage purchase orders and pricing, resolving issues with Customer Service and Channel Marketing. Track sales goals and progress using Power BI to analyze business data and identify growth opportunities. Travel up to 60% regionally, including up to 50% of the territory assignment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field; Master’s preferred. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results. Valid driver’s license and physical ability to travel within territory assignment. Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. Compensation & Benefits Target total cash compensation range: $84,000.00 – $135,200.00. This includes base salary plus target variable cash compensation.
