Commercial General Liability Underwriter, Hotel Program

Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial General Liability (GL) Underwriter to help launch, develop, and manage a new national hotel and hospitality casualty insurance program. This role offers the opportunity to build a program from the ground up while collaborating with an established commercial property underwriting team and leveraging strong industry relationships. Responsibilities Underwrite and price GL risks for hotels, motels, resorts and hospitality-related accounts. Evaluate submissions, analyze exposures and make sound underwriting decisions. Assist in developing underwriting guidelines, pricing strategies and overall program structure. Collaborate with carrier, reinsurance and brokerage partners to support program growth. Monitor portfolio performance, profitability and underwriting trends. Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokers nationwide. Support program expansion through market feedback and product development initiatives. Partner with an experienced property underwriting team managing a large national portfolio, providing insight and support as the GL program grows. Requirements 5+ years of commercial general liability underwriting experience Hospitality, hotel or program underwriting experience (preferred) Strong analytical, negotiation and relationship management skills Solid knowledge of ISO forms, coverage analysis and casualty underwriting principles Benefits Competitive compensation package, OTE $150k-250k Health insurance benefits 401(k) plan with company match Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr The Jacobson Group
