About the Position This position is located at: Department of Defense Education Activity Americas, Fort Campbell High School, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Position is temporary and will not exceed 1 year and could be terminated earlier based on enrollment. Description of Working Environment Work is performed in a classroom setting. Who May Apply: U.S. Citizens. In order to qualify, you must meet the education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Education Requirements A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), is required. Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. The license must be verifiable through the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) nurse licensure and disciplinary database and must be maintained throughout employment with DoWEA. A Bachelor's degree in a program other than nursing is acceptable only if possession of a current, active, full, and unrestricted nurse license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States is presented.
