Evaluates and treats patients in order to produce effective outcomes. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization that is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth. Responsibilities Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities. Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for all information communicated at meetings. Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time. Assists all patients, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Adheres to the following environmental care standards. Qualifications

EDUCATION

Minimum: Masters Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION

Eligible for clinical fellowship year to earn ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology or has earned ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Florida license or provisional license (CFY) as a Speech Language Pathologist from the Agency of Health Care Administration’s Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
