Process Engineer III

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to optimize our operations. In this role, you will maintain our key products using Statistical Process Control, improve first-pass yields, streamline processes, and drive cost efficiencies. What will you be doing? Daily monitoring of production for quality, cycle time, EHS compliance, and consistency with documented work practices. Monitor processes closely and oversee SPC related activities for critical processes. Determine root causes for out-of-control products, investigate failures, and implement corrective actions. Prepare periodic statistical reports for customers and ensure timely submission. Manage Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR), ensuring closeout and root‑cause resolution. Support QA on customer complaints related to batch manufacturing, including CAR work. Write and modify Work Instructions for existing products. Troubleshoot and resolve process equipment related problems. Collaborate with Maintenance/Production and apply Management of Change protocol for equipment repairs and process changes. Act as secondary resource for Plant EHS Activities (waste management, permit compliance, audits, EHS system performance). Coordinate with Maintenance/Production to oversee equipment and instrumentation calibration program. Who are You? Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with 7+ years experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years experience. Solid working knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC). Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Quality focus, self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision. Team player able to interact closely with other departments. Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions. Familiarity with P&ID, basic process control, pumps, piping systems, control valves, mixers, solids handling and environmental control equipment.
