We're building a new Transfer Center in Allen, TX and are looking for experienced RNs to help support patient transfers, admissions, and care coordination for a leading California health system. What You'll Do
Coordinate patient admissions and interfacility transfers
Review emergency department admissions for medical necessity and level of care
Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, payors, and care teams to ensure timely patient placement
Obtain authorizations and support regulatory compliance (EMTALA/COBRA)
Help optimize patient flow, continuity of care, and patient outcomes

Qualifications

Required
Active California RN license (or willingness to obtain)
Minimum of two years of acute care case management hospital nursing experience
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills

Preferred
Emergency Department or Critical Care experience
Case Management, Access Management, or Utilization Management experience
CCM or ACM certification
Knowledge of payer requirements
