Summary: The primary function of the Scanning Clerk is to scan paper documents and organize scanned documents into electronic files in a timely and accurate manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
Mathematical Ability: Basic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate to advanced computer knowledge and skills. May require learning of specific imaging-software programs. Certificates and Licenses: No requirements. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision, close vision and depth perception. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Scans paper documents.
- Organizes scanned documents into electronic files.
- Keep mailroom organized regarding packages received for others
- Exercises discretion relating to the confidentiality of documents being handled.
- Assists Accounts Payable Coordinator with invoice inputting and filing.
- Keeps working area clean and organized.
- Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of the Polo Club.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Controller
- Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, self-motivation and dependability.
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
