Operations Specialist

As an Operations Specialist in the Fee Group of AMG Operations Revenue and Financial Services, you will be based in Cleveland, Ohio. Position Responsibilities Calculate and process fees for services provided by the Asset Management Group to Institutional and Wealth Management Clients. Determine fees owed to co‑trustees for relevant accounts and set up new accounts with appropriate fee schedules and cycles. Ensure accounts are accurately configured for Market Value, Income, and Transaction‑based fee calculations. Maintain existing accounts as directed, updating coding across multiple systems. Perform fee calculations and prorations using Microsoft Excel and/or Revport, close accounts, document activities in Microsoft OneNote, and post fees in the system. Verify the accuracy of processing and calculations performed by colleagues and address fee‑related inquiries via email or phone. Identify and address exceptions, serve as a point of escalation for complex transactions, and partner with service partners to route calls and documents. Interact with external customers to complete transactions, ensuring all required materials and documentation are available. Provide consultation and advice to internal and external customers and review existing processes, recommending improvements. Train and onboard new hires, and participate in risk mitigation activities. Qualifications University/college degree or comparable combination of education, certification, and experience. Less than 1 year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program. Keen attention to detail, critical thinking and analytical abilities. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, queries, V‑lookups, index matches, tables). Strong problem‑solving capabilities, multitasking, and prioritization skills. Effective communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred skills: Accountability, Customer Solutions, Compliance, Initiative, Process Improvements, Results‑Oriented, Risk Mitigation, SOP knowledge. Knowledge of operational functions, product and service offerings, and standard operating procedures. Pay Transparency Base Salary: $41,250.00 – $68,750.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with compensation based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
