Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Job Description We are seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to become a part of our team! You will coordinate medical and health services within a network of health centers in Northeast Alabama. Responsibilities: Oversee medical and health service activities and personnel Plan and coordinate health services Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate healthcare programs Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures Qualifications: Medical or Dental degree from an approved school of medicine. Master of Public Health (MPH) preferred Board-eligible required. License to practice medicine in the State of Alabama. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine related to Public Health service and Primary Care Health services. Minimum of three (3) years administrative experience preferred. Minimum three (5) years clinical experience required. Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Public and Primary Health Care.
