Junior Accountant, bilingual Korean

Job Summary


The Accounting Assistant supports day-to-day accounting operations within the finance team by managing financial data and ensuring seamless communication with internal departments. This role is essential for maintaining accurate records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Job Description

• -Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Monitor outstanding receivables and manage collections to ensure timely payments.
• -Invoicing & Cash Application: Issue invoices, verify incoming payments, and accurately reflect transactions in the general ledger.
• -Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and corporate credit card transactions.
• -Closing Support: Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial settlement tasks.
• -Data & Reporting: Maintain organized accounting records and assist in preparing financial reports and documentation.
• -Real Estate Accounting: Manage billing and collections for property-related expenses, including rent and CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges.
• -Issue Resolution: Collaborate with tenants and internal departments to address and resolve billing inquiries or financial discrepancies.

Qualifications

• -Professional Experience: Prior experience in accounting, finance, or administrative management is highly preferred.
• -Software Proficiency: Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting ERP software is a significant plus.
• -Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• -Communication: Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
