Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

The person hired for this role will work at our Old Hickory, TN manufacturing plant. Responsibilities Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical equipment and components Installing/upgrading and calibrating equipment Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, gear boxes and pumps Performing basic machining, pipefitting, millwright, welding and fabrication tasks Performing preventive maintenance Performing other tasks as assigned Completing shop records and using reporting systems following established procedures Using safe work methods and procedures at all times Core Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, on-call rotation for weekends and holidays, and holidays as needed Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws Additional Qualifications Possess or have obtained, within the last six months, a two-year technical degree in maintenance or electro‑mechanical field (completed and verified prior to start) High school diploma/GED (completed prior to start) AND four (4) or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Testing All candidates must successfully complete 3M’s Maintenance Battery test. Pay Range $33.04/hr. - $39.63/hr. This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
