Receptionist

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Answers the phones in a prompt, pleasant and courteous manner. Transfers calls appropriately.
• Greets all visitors in a prompt, pleasant and courteous manner. Ensure guests are not kept waiting.
• Checks the general voice mail box and forwards messages to the appropriate person.
• Opens and distributes mail ensuring items are date stamped and go to the correct person.
• Helps with miscellaneous projects for the accounting departments data entry, indexing, and check coding, document organization.
• Handles all deliveries to and from the company such as UPS, Fed Ex, mail, etc.
• Office supply inventory and ordering as well as stocking conference room and media room with need supplies
• Maintains and updates phone lists, extension listings, etc.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience/Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years prior Receptionist experience.

Job Skills:

• Knowledge of Windows based software (Excel, Word,) and any e-mail system.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Pleasant demeanor.
• Punctual- must be time conscious.
• Ability to operate multiple phone line system.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Experience:

2 years: Front desk receptionist
