If you would like to join a fabulous team of healthcare professionals, this job may be for you!Regional Director of Nursing Duties and Responsibilities:Clinical Compliance ResourceProvide guidance to administrators and DONs re. regulatory / compliance questions and concernsAssist with policy / procedure development, updates, and implementationConduct compliance rounds during on-site visits and share feedback with admin/DONProvide education to nursing leadership staff re. best practices, regulations, etc.Review all significant incidents (reportable, falls with injury, potential law suits, etc.) to ensure appropriate actions have been taken and supporting documentation is in placeAdvise admins regarding threshold for reporting events to DOH on case-by-case basisCollaborate with CNO on implementation of quarterly company-wide PIPsSurvey Prep SupportConduct routine site visits to audit regulatory complianceConduct mock survey for every facility at least once annuallyConduct chart audits to ensure regulatory complianceObserve QAPI meetings, safety meetings, daily clinical meetings to ensure standards being metAssist facilities to develop performance improvement plans for issues identifiedSurvey ManagementBe present for any clinical survey (annual, infection control, complaint)Support admin, DON, and staff through survey processParticipate in entrance and exit conferences with surveyorsPost-Survey SupportReview POCs prior to state submissionAssist with IDR when necessaryAudit compliance with POCDON orientation and mentorshipProvide new-hire training to DONsProvide ongoing education as neededAssess DON job performance and report findings / recommendations to administrator for follow upRegional Director of Nursing Benefits:Competitive compensation based on experienceGenerous PTO packageHealth Insurance benefits including vision and dental coverageSupplemental disability and Life Insurance coverage options availableFlexible Spending Account401k availableFriendly work environmentBeautiful facilitiesReady to take the next step in your career journey?
