Hematology/Oncology Physician – Independent Practice (Ownership Model) Job Type: Independent Practice Opportunity Company: MedCBO, Inc. – A Colorado-based healthcare business infrastructure company that empowers independent physician groups to launch, manage, and scale their practices through a Business‑in‑a‑Box platform. About the Position This role is for physicians who want clinical autonomy while receiving structured operational support for non‑clinical business functions. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity; MedCBO provides administrative and operational support, but does not direct patient care. Physician Responsibilities Provide clinical care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Determine clinical services offered and govern clinical operations and patient‑care policies. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination and compliance. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation and revenue cycle management. Financial infrastructure, reporting, and practice accounting. Operational workflows, staffing systems, and HR administration. Technology platform implementation (EHR, telehealth, clinical workflow systems). Credentialing, facility privileging, and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions preventing independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets (urban, suburban, rural) are available. Physician‑directed relocation and market selection are subject to licensure requirements. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.
