Front Desk/Insurance Coordinator

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk / Insurance Coordinator to join our dental team. This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring accurate insurance verification and financial coordination. The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills and prior experience with dental insurance verification. Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out. Answer phones, schedule appointments (Dentrix), and manage the daily schedule efficiently. Verify dental insurance benefits accurately and in a timely manner. Clearly communicate insurance coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and treatment estimates to patients. Submit and follow up on insurance claims as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collect payments and review financial arrangements with patients. Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow. Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and compassionately. Qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dental office (required). Proven experience with dental insurance verification (required). Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
