Responsibilities The registered nurse (RN) assesses, manages and treats patients with mental health conditions, emotional disorders and substance issues. Care Planning: Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to design, update, and implement individualized patient treatment plans. Qualifications Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Must have Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas. Must have current BLS/CPR. ACLS within six months of hire. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Education: Graduate of a state approved school of professional nursing practice.
