The position requires experience with Siemens equipment and various procedures. Common procedures include gastric emptying, HIDA scans, Muga scans, and bone scans. Experience in brain scans, liver/spleen scans, lung scans, renal flow studies, and thyroid studies is essential. Knowledge of drawing venous blood, isolation precautions, and handling radioactive materials is required. Candidates must be able to start and maintain IVs. The professional will perform SPECT and myocardial studies including adenosine infusion and pharmacological stress tests. Interdisciplinary support services will be available in the unit. Call requirements include rotating nights, and weekend coverage is needed every third weekend. The unit is blocked for scheduling, with a patient ratio of 1:4. Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required. All candidates must be open to floating within the facility as needed.
