About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 24 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1.5 Years MS/Tele Experience Required License: Valid AZ/Compact RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Required (not expiring within 30 days of start) Must-Have: - Open book EKG test required prior to starting - 1.5 years of experience in MS/Tele - Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 required - EPIC charting system experience required - Required to float to a sister facility - Required to cover 12 weekend shifts per contract, with coverage every other weekend Description: This position is an auto offer with minimal restrictions on time off. The start time is as soon as possible with weekly orientation. Candidates must have experience managing patients with infectious diseases, hospice/palliative care, oncology, cardiac acute care, medical care, post-surgical, bariatric, urology, neurology, and orthopedics. The unit cares for a diverse patient population and requires the ability to float to different locations. Travelers must have 1:6 patient ratio experience and be agreeable to floating to a nearby facility. Telemetry monitoring experience is necessary, as patients may be monitored remotely. Candidates must have skills in managing and caring for various medical equipment and procedures. A supervisory reference is required from previous employment. Travelers with one DUI on record will be considered, provided it occurred more than one year ago. Blocked scheduling is not accommodated. Candidates with previous employment history at this location will need rehire status approval.
