Wafer Fab Technician

Responsibilities Have had experience as an operator in a wafer fab or thin film fab. Be flexible to learn different functions in the lab to support daily production goals. Perform visual inspection on all wafers/chips before and after all processing. Identify any malfunctioning equipment and generate maintenance request. Correctly complete all logbooks and forms related to processing. Clean area daily or more frequently if needed. Promote and maintain safety in the workplace by following all company safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and report unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions or practices. Requirements Has a good understanding of how semiconductor or thin film manufacturing works and is interested in being trained in multiple process areas. Good manual dexterity. Able to work in a team environment. Good communication skills. Able to accurately follow detailed technical instructions. Solid basic math skills. Working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Must be a legal US resident and authorized to work in the United States.
