Nursing Assistant Position

The Nursing Assistant will focus on cleaning/stocking of equipment as well as supply management of our special-order items in the NICU.

Department: Neonatal Unit Level II (NICU)

Type: Full-time (40 hours) 8-hour shift, 5 days a week. Shift: 11:00am - 7:30pm (two weekend shifts per month) **** No set schedule.**** Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Our 142-bed NICU has an array of specialized services including a program dedicated to the care of micro-preemies, and neonatal transport and ECMO programs.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions Provides routine treatments and maintains a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment. Maintains a clean, neat, safe and organized nursing unit. Transports and delivers items, equipment, blood products, and medications (excluding controlled substances and IV chemotherapy drugs) throughout the facility.

Qualifications

Education/Training High school graduate or equivalent. Licensure/Certification Must obtain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire. Experience None
