This role focuses on supporting healthcare providers by managing patient interactions, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care and support under physician supervision, recognizing normal and abnormal patient conditions.Manage patient flow efficiently, including preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints.Assist with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and application of splints or dressings.Handle patient education, medication samples, referrals, and follow-up communications.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments.Education and Experience:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.
