RN - PACU

Registered Nurse - Pacu/Endoscopy

This position offers a schedule of 4 days per week, working 10-hour shifts during the day, with a shared on-call rotation.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Pre-Operative, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Phase II recovery, Endoscopy, and Infusion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care within outpatient services and be comfortable floating to various areas, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, and Pre-operative Clinics.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing nursing assessment and peri-operative education and care to patients.
• Monitoring and recognizing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Floating to the entire Outpatient Services area as needed for patient care.

Required experience/certifications/licensure include:

• Minimum of two years of experience in SSSU, PACU, Pre-operative, and Post-operative nursing.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted RN license required.
