This role involves both independent task completion and collaboration with Engineers to ensure optimal building performance and tenant satisfaction across assigned properties.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and equipmentConduct facility inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operationsHandle general interior maintenance tasks including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture, and fixing doorsReplace lighting, ballasts, clean HVAC coils, change filters and beltsMove office furniture, machinery, equipment and materials as requestedUpdate work order status in real-time using CMMS systems like CorrigoComplete hazard assessments and maintain compliance with safety procedures and local codesPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft laddersPosition requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and drivingWork in various indoor and outdoor environmentsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent2 - 4 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electricalDemonstrated competency with inspection, maintenance and repair activitiesStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to complete required safety trainings and comply with safety proceduresPreferred Qualifications:3rd Party Certification in building tradesCoursework in building tradesEPA Universal refrigerant licenseExperience with CMMS systems (Corrigo preferred)Knowledge of State, County, or City building ordinances, codes, and lawsExperience in commercial real estate or property management environmentsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
