Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of ER experience License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred Comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience in a Level I Trauma Center. Licensure in the state is required prior to starting the position. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI are mandatory. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations. The job entails triaging patients, interpreting dysrhythmias, and administering emergency medications. Experience with procedural sedation and care for ventilated patients is essential. The nurse will be managing trauma patients and caring for individuals with psychiatric needs. Weekly patient ratios will be 1:3.5. Documentation will be completed using an electronic health record system. Weekend shifts will be expected every other or every third weekend. All candidates must complete a fingerprinting process before their start date. Reference requirements include two professional references, with at least one from a supervisory role.
