Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of a dynamic team of imaging specialists committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining each phase with empathy
• Work closely alongside radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic health system
• Continuously update knowledge on the latest ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent entity
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
