Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Massachusetts PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Client requires prior experience with restorative programs, transfers and mobility training, and fall prevention strategies. This experience is preferred. Ability to follow PT-established plans of care and document per facility and state requirements.
