We Are Hiring Location: Hoffman Estates, IL Facility: Ascension Saint Alexius Department: Ultrasound Schedule: Rotating shift | PRN Salary range: $41.00 - $47.00 per hour What You Will Do Execute routine and complex ultrasound procedures by maneuvering transducers to capture high-quality images of tissues and body structures. Verify equipment functionality, recognize pathology and artifacts, and ensure prompt submission of accurate, high-quality images and patient data to PACS. Uphold strict safety protocols, quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a clean, orderly department. Troubleshoot potential malfunctions, report issues to appropriate personnel, and perform necessary equipment lock/tag-out procedures. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
