Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established safety and procedural guidelines.
• Prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing and processing.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of specimens collected and procedures performed.
• Interact professionally with patients, explaining procedures to foster reassurance and confidence.
• Perform specimen collection and processing duties with a focus on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for patients and staff.
• Support the team by performing daily tasks accurately and timely, under the supervision of the area supervisor.

Required Skills

• Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Keyboard and data entry experience.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required; over one year preferred.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
