Primary Care Physician CareMD – Barstow Clinic

CareMD is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join our growing team supporting our Barstow clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered outpatient environment focused on wellness, preventive care, and serving the High Desert community.

Position Highlights

• Full-Time outpatient opportunity with CareMD.
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with physicians typically finishing patient care by 4:00 PM and remaining time allotted for administrative work
• No inpatient responsibilities or hospital call requirements; only occasional calls for your own patients
• Average patient volume of approximately 14–18 patients per day
• Strong focus on wellness visits, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and continuity of care
• Patient population consists primarily of geriatric and underserved/low-income families
• Competitive salary ranging from $275,000–$325,000 annually with potential productivity bonus
• Open to Visa Candidates (J1, H1B, O1)
• Collaborative clinical environment with supportive administrative staff
• Option for 1099 or W2 employment available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current California Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
• Current DEA registration
