IT Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong technical writing skills to support IT/software projects in the Engineering domain. The ideal candidate will translate complex technical requirements into clear documentation, collaborate with engineering teams, and engage with senior management to drive project success. Required Technical / Functional Skills Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects Strong technical writing skills with attention to detail Proficiency in documentation tools: Confluence, MS Word, Markdown, etc. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience in IoT, PLM, or enterprise software domains Understanding of APIs, data modeling, and integration concepts Experience with Jira, Rally, or similar tools Roles & Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. Create functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA to ensure alignment Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements Support UAT and maintain requirements traceability Prepare technical documentation: SRS, BRD, API docs, user manuals Maintain documentation standards and version control Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for non-technical audiences Create diagrams, workflows, and process maps (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.) Ensure compliance with organizational and industry documentation standards Preferred Qualifications Engineering domain experience (IoT/PLM/Enterprise Software) Prior exposure to systems integration and data modeling Strong stakeholder management in a global environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
