The APRN is an expert in patient care, providing quality care, performing patient assessments, histories and physical exams, and taking a thorough medical history. The APRN can order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, develop medical diagnoses, appropriate treatment plans, prescribe medical regimens, and educate patients/families regarding diagnosis and plan of care. May perform approved procedures and order medications as indicated in the Delineation of Privileges. The APRN works directly with physicians, staff, administration, patients and families to ensure quality of care across the health system. The APRN is a clinical team leader that intervenes and manages deteriorating patients, integrates evidence‑based practice and technological advances into their scope of practice, and may participate in research initiatives, data collection, quality improvement, discharge planning, and coordination of patient care within the area of practice. The APRN participates in and facilitates patient throughput, optimal patient outcomes, optimal length of stay and improved patient satisfaction. Estimated salary range for this position is $118,907.47 – $158,146.94 per year depending on experience. Qualifications

APRN:

Masters Basic Life Support Advanced Practice Registered Nurse 3 years of relevant RN experience Compliance with state of Florida requirements for CEUs and licensure DEA License required as per specialty/function Advanced Cardiac Life Support required as per specialty/function Nurse Practitioner National Certification required Obtain medical staff credentialing and privileges as needed for practice location Experienced APP's and oncology experience preferred PA: Associate's Degree required Masters Degree preferred Valid Florida PA License NCCPA Certification DEA License BLS Certification Oncology experience preferred Must be compliant with state of Florida requirements for CMEs and licensure Must obtain medical staff credentialing and privileges as needed for practice location EOE, including disability/vets #J-18808-Ljbffr Baptist Health
