Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper

Job Description Job Description Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper Cox Associates Inc. Part-Time | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week Cox Associates Inc. is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to support the owner in the daily operations of our insurance and financial services office. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping clients, and can work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain accurate financial records, coordinate insurance case processing, and perform a variety of administrative duties. We offer flexible office hours and a collaborative work environment where initiative and reliability are valued. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by assisting clients with questions and resolving issues Perform general administrative and bookkeeping duties Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Update and maintain client information in internal databases Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence Monitor pending insurance cases with carriers and provide status updates to client Assist with social media updates on a weekly and monthly basis Support the owner with day-to-day office operations and special projects as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of QuickBooks experience (required) Minimum of 3 years of insurance customer service experience (required) Human Resources Benefits Generalist experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) preferred Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work independently Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude Life and Health Insurance License preferred.
