Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Supervises and coordinates the on-site construction activities for assigned projects
\n
• Monitors the completion of each construction phase through coordination, scheduling, and inspection of each home
\n
• Ensures quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction in accordance with Company goals and objectives
\n
• Assists in budgeting time requirements to complete each phase of construction and meet deadlines by scheduling subcontractor work and deliveries; coordinating and monitoring progress of work; completion and closing dates
\n
• Acts as liaisons between operations, subcontractors, and vendors; supervises and monitors work of subcontractors; provides follow up to ensure completion of work and accurate, timely deliveries
\n
• Reviews, on a daily basis, the production of homes via inspections during various construction phases to ensure quality control; monitors progress including delivery and use of materials, supplies, tools, machinery, equipment and vehicles
\n
• Reviews and analyzes site plans and blueprints in order to monitor and ensure compliance with plan specifications
\n
• Conducts pre-construction and pre-settlement meetings with home buyer; resolves customer service issues and production problems during construction phase to maintain customer satisfaction; completes finishing and warranty work as required
\n
• Assists in the control of production costs through review and approval of time sheets, production and service invoices, delivery, and inspection sheets
\n
• Confers with appropriate individuals to monitor and track costs to avoid overruns
\n
• Assist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required
\n
• The Field Manager will serve as the primary contact for trade partners, customers, and internal associates for each home they are overseeing
\n
• Monitors the completion of each construction phase through coordination, scheduling and inspection of each home
\n
• Quickly and proficiently use real data to evaluate a problem and solve it within the organization’s policies and procedures
\n

Skill Requirement

\n

• Construction IQ , able to understand the essence of codes and accepted building practices and scrutinize specific situations to make the best decisions
\n
• Technologically savvy , able to use internal project management, budgeting, and other software
\n
• Problem Solving capable,  able to assess and devise solutions for complex problems
\n
• Time management skills , able to prioritize multiple competing priorities executing in order of priority
\n
• Acute   attention to detail and commitment to delivering the Brandon Home standard
\n
• Independent contributor , able to produce with little guidance and oversight need
\n
• Effective communication,  able to effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders to achieve objectives
\n
• Budget mindfulness and understanding

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 2+ years of professional construction project management experience
\n
• Ability to manage trade performance.
\n
• Strong ability to read blueprints.
\n
• Strong knowledge of building codes
\n
• (Preferred, not required) Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field
\n
• Current Driver’s License
\n
• Drug Testing and Credit Check are required
\n
• Able to lift at least 75 pounds in daily execution of job
\n
