It is part of Saks Global’s portfolio of world-class luxury retailers and real estate assets. **YOU WILL BE:** The Restaurant Host serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner by greeting and seating customers. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** • Maintains presence at host stand / door to professionally and graciously greet and seat customers • Monitors server performance to ensure smooth service during the customers’ dining experience • Observes proper telephone etiquette • Handles reservations through OpenTable platform (including VIPs) and any additional inquiries regarding hours of operation, specials, events, etc. • Organizes reservations, maximizes seating during operating hours, and optimizes staffing and customer traffic • Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment and maintains knowledge of the POS system • Keeps flow of service to standards (e.g., proper seating of customers to each wait station) • Participates in daily pre-shift meetings • Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.) • Maintains cleanliness and presentability of all menus and menu covers • Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to: • Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes • Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks • Adheres to posted work schedule and follows established procedures for schedule and shift changes **WHAT YOU WILL BRING:** • High School diploma or GED preferred • Knowledge of OpenTable platform • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work autonomously • Motivated and results-driven • Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills • "Win together" mentality • Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds • Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays **YOUR LIFE AND CAREER AT NEIMAN MARCUS:** • Opportunity to work in a dynamic fast paced environment at a company experiencing growth and transformation • Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities across the largest multi-brand luxury retailer from retail to distribution, to digital or corporate • Comprehensive benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental) • An amazing employee discount **SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS**: Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. **Benefits:** We offer the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, basic life insurance, supplemental life insurance, disability insurance, and a variety of additional voluntary benefits (such as critical illness, hospital and accident insurance).
