Attorney for AI Model Training

Role Overview
Apply litigation expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems through high-quality legal analysis, research, and feedback. This remote contract role focuses on improving how AI handles document review, discovery management, case strategy, and motion practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement legal rubrics for AI-supported document review and analysis.
- Perform in-depth legal research and draft complex memoranda to support AI training and evaluation.
- Review high volumes of litigation documents to identify issues, trends, and data points relevant to AI improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate legal insights into actionable AI development requirements.
- Assess the quality and accuracy of AI outputs and provide feedback to strengthen discovery management and motion practice capabilities.
- Develop case strategy and motion practice templates for legal AI use cases.
- Continuously refine rubric criteria to reflect evolving legal standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 5 years of litigation experience, including management of document-intensive matters through discovery and dispositive motions.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, issue-spotting, and document-analysis skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing case strategy and handling motion practice.
- Experience managing discovery and complex legal document review projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Comfort working with technology in a remote, digital-first environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Law Review or journal editorial experience, including substantive editing, cite-checking, and scholarly legal publication review.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $100 to $150 per hour.
