Job Summary:
The United States - California based Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialty position is located in Chico. This role involves providing patient care within a Level II Trauma center, primarily for weekend coverage. The successful candidate will handle Pre-Operative and Post-Operative care for surgery patients, with occasional Pre-Op management of gastrointestinal patients. Candidates must meet specific licensure and experience requirements.

Job Details:

• Position: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA), successful completion of prior travel assignments
• Additional Information: Enloe Medical Center only accepts agency staff who are W-2 employees of their respective agency. Med/Surg and Critical Care registered nurse positions are required to float as needed.
