Respiratory Therapist, Registered (Straight Nights)

Job Summary Facility: Bemidji Medical Center Location: Bemidji, MN Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $32.50 - $44.00 Sign-on Bonus: $30,000/2 years or $40,000/3 years Responsibilities Assess patients to prevent, detect, monitor, and manage disease and complications. Measure patients’ lung capacity to determine impairments. Offer diagnosis results and treatment suggestions based on analysis. Work in various clinical areas ranging from general floors to critical care. Complete orientations, competency validations, and in‑service training as required. Qualifications Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program (minimum associate degree). Thorough knowledge of respiratory care procedures, indications, contraindications, and hazards. Proficiency with computers for patient documentation and data gathering. Current Respiratory Therapy licensure in state of practice and/or multi‑state privileges. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials maintained per NBRC requirements. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Required additional site‑specific specialty credentials such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
