Core Functions

• Lead manufacturing projects to ensure timeline, cost, and outcome expectations are met.
• Communicate recommendations for changes, prepare cost justifications, and coordinate the design and development of new processes, systems, equipment, or materials.
• Utilize process mapping and value stream analysis tools to improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Conduct and analyze time and motion studies to ensure optimal part/product flow.
• Identify, analyze, and implement continuous quality improvement in design and manufacturing process efficiency, safety, quality and cost.
• Development of work process’ to ensure that products are assembled properly and meet quality objectives through work instructions and training.

• Perform capacity analysis, manufacturing process design, line layout design for existing and new manufacturing process and machine needs and develop better tools or systems.
• Participate in procurement, installation, and runoff of new equipment
• Coordinate, provide input, and participate in specification, design, build, development, and launch of new

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering
• 2D and/or 3D CAD experience is required (preferably in AutoCAD and SolidWorks).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Experience with quality system planning and certification, such as IATF, ISO &
• CNC, PLC, Robotic programming experience is preferred.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to understand and develop technical drawings.
• Ability to create, document, evaluate, and maintain work instructions for production.
• Advanced mathematical skills.

Physical Requirements

• This position is subject to light work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls require exertion of force greater than that of Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Visual Acuity

• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions

• • This position operates in a professional office environment and manufacturing / warehouse facilities. The worker will be exposed to heat and noise conditions from manufacturing.
