Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including powertrain systems, engines, electrical components, and vehicle systems. Use advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Repair or replace engine components, including diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and safety inspections to uphold quality standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical problems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques for repairs and maintenance tasks. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts or equipment as needed to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and maintaining professional communication throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with a variety of vehicles, especially Subaru or similar brands. Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive wiring diagrams. Ability to work with automotive repair manuals, schematics, and electronic diagnostic systems confidently. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent manual dexterity for precise repairs using hand tools and power tools.
