Warehouse Associate

This role focuses on supporting a busy industrial warehouse by accurately receiving, storing, and shipping products to customers. You will help maintain an organized, efficient warehouse operation by handling inventory, working with shipping systems, and performing general warehouse duties. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a small, close-knit environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on schedule.
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize inventory and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with ongoing inventory control activities.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and stage materials, with training provided if needed.
• Use shipping software and warehouse systems to process orders and manage inventory data.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and support day-to-day operations as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ability to manage and organize inventory in a warehouse setting.
• Basic understanding of logistics and material handling processes.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Comfort working with shipping software and warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated work style.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse management or inventory control is beneficial.
• Familiarity with logistics processes and shipping procedures is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new warehouse technologies and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a small team environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a very small branch location with only two employees, so you will work independently for most of the day while collaborating closely with a small team. The environment is hands-on and warehouse-focused, involving regular use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as well as shipping software and warehouse systems. The facility emphasizes organization and cleanliness, with a practical, task-oriented atmosphere.

This is a contract to hire position based out of La Vista, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
