Compensation and Schedule for the Patient Access Specialist – Call Center Patient Access Specialist – Call Center – Full-time, onsite, $20-$22 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Required Qualifications of the Patient Access Specialist – Call Center 2+ years of recent high-volume call center experience required Recent healthcare experience preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred High school diploma or GED required Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen Responsibilities of the Patient Access Specialist – Call Center Answer phones and respond to telephone inquiries quickly and appropriately Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume call center environment Act as a resource/liaison for team members, internal and external customers Transfer calls to other departments Obtain accurate patient demographics when assisting patients Perform some functions in EMR systems About the Company This well-known and successful healthcare system has remained a symbol of quality for nearly 40 years.
