Position Summary


Operator II is responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining production efficiency, and following all safety and operational procedures. This role requires intermediate-level machine operation skills, troubleshooting abilities, and teamwork in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Wywinn production/manufacturing equipment.
• Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Identify process issues and communicate them to supervisors or maintenance teams.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Train or assist new operators when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• 1-3 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics, assembly, or production environments is a plus.

Skills

• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer/data entry skills may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as required.
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts/components.
• Ability to work overtime or shifts when needed.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production floor environment.
• Exposure to noise, machinery, and production materials.
• Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required.
